Northwestern University’s School of Law on Thursday announced a $100-million gift from the Pritzker family, theChicago Tribune reports.
The donation, from venture capitalist J.B. Pritzker and his wife, M.K. Pritzker, will go toward scholarships and grants as well as the college’s social-justice, entrepreneurship, and civil- and human-rights efforts.
The school will be renamed the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and its Entrepreneurship Law Center will be renamed to honor J.B. Pritzker’s father, Donald Pritzker, who was co-founder and chief executive of Hyatt Hotels.
