The Trump administration has paused preparations for this year’s Combined Federal Campaign and is deciding whether the decades-old charity drive for federal employees should continue. The Office of Personnel Management has not explained the pause, which has surprised nonprofits that participate. Nonprofits apply and pay listing fees, bearing the costs of a campaign that allows employees to give part of their paychecks to designated charities. The CFC has raised nearly $9 billion for charities since the 1960s. (Washington Post)
