Nonprofit News From Elsewhere Online

Only 10 of Planned Parenthood’s 47 nationwide affiliates can once again receive Medicaid funding after a federal judge ordered a preliminary injunction against a Trump administration effort to block those reimbursements. The organization is suing over a new law that bars Medicaid funds from going to nonprofit health centers that provide abortions and took in at least $800,000 in Medicaid revenues in 2023. The judge ordered payments restarted to clinics that do not fit that description in Utah, Delaware, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi. (New York Times)
