Nonprofit News From Elsewhere Online

Scholars and church leaders are divided on the wisdom of an Internal Revenue Service ruling to allow pastors to back specific candidates from the pulpit, reversing decades of policy. Others welcome the ruling, saying the IRS should not police the communications between pastors and their congregations. (Associated Press)
